A proud member of Novika since 1997, Lorraine embodies the organization’s values, both through her human approach and her commitment to our partners. Trained in mechanical engineering and business administration, she has held positions as design engineer, project manager, and team director before becoming CEO in 2020.
Her career has been marked by significant achievements: managing large-scale projects, developing expertise, infrastructure, and services in the field of laser processes—a field she has promoted through conferences in Canada and internationally, as well as through her contribution to applicable standards (AWS, CSA).
A visionary and motivator, she actively contributes to promoting Novika and bringing its vision to life.Her areas of expertise include: innovation management, industrial research, college research, research and development funding, and laser welding.
